En general, al enviar algún monstruo de Pokémon GO a Pokémon: Let’s Go en cualquiera de sus 2 versiones, los jugadores recibirán ciertos objetos en la aplicación, como caramelos para la especie que hayan transferido. Sin embargo, la primera vez que lo realicen podrán obtener un objeto muy especial: una Caja Misteriosa.
Tras abrir dicha caja en los dispositivos moviles, empezarán a aparecer estas simpáticas criaturas y los jugadores podrán atraparlos como a cualquier otro. Una vez capturado, Meltan puede enviarse al GO Park de Nintendo Switch. También pueden conseguir una Caja Misteriosa si envían Pokémon al juego Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! o Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! de un amigo. Después de utilizarse, la Caja Misteriosa se cerrará. Para volver a abrirla, será necesario que esperen un tiempo y repetir la dinamica.
Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! y Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! se lanzarán de forma exclusiva para Nintendo Switch el 16 de noviembre de 2018.
